Can we imagine a world without love? Gods Word tells us love comes from Him. His perfect love was and is so deep and wide that even after mankind turned away from God, He again provided a way of pardon for His creation to be reconciled back to Him by giving up His only Son in Heaven, sending Him to mankind in the person of Jesus Christ through the incarnate birth to Mary.
1 John 4:8-10 - Gods response
"He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins."
1 John 5:3-5 - Mans response
"For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?"
