During times of trouble we want relief and the trouble to
go away. Maybe if we just leave it alone it will leave us? God is ready to hear
our troubles and supply comfort from His deep well of love. And as we lean on
Gods comfort, a wonderful thing occurs. We learn how to accept it, and share
comfort to others fulfilling His second most important command to love your
neighbor as yourself.
2 Corinthians
1:3-4,
"Blessed be
the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of
all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to
comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves
are comforted by God."
