The first baptism of the Holy Spirit as promised by and after Jesus Christ ascension into heaven is recorded in Acts chapter 2 of the New Testament. It occurred just prior to the Apostle Peter preaching the very first gospel sermon in Jerusalem. (Acts 2:1-4)
The second and only other baptism of the Holy Spirit recorded in the bible occurred in the tenth chapter of Acts (Acts 10:44-45). This significant event by God happened in the household of Cornelius while Apostle Peter again was preaching the gospel to the Roman centurion and his family and friends!
